Lyonsdown is delighted to be taking part in The Big Draw this year – the world’s largest drawing festival.
The Big Draw aims to encourage drawing as a tool for wellbeing, thought, creativity, social and cultural engagement. At Lyonsdown we have invited parents and girls to take part in two drawing workshops led by Mrs Cowie, our specialist Art and Design teacher, in which everyone learnt new drawing skills and techniques.
All of the parents and girls who took part enjoyed designing their own buildings for a futuristic New Barnet – and the results were amazing!
We are delighted that one of The Big Draw patrons, Mr Sagoo, will be visiting the School over the next few weeks to inspire our girls. He will be hosting an assembly and leading the girls through an exciting STEAM project.
