Transfer
Our Pre-Reception class is the first stage of an education which is completed when girls are aged 11 and boys are aged 7.
Lyonsdown boys leave at 7+, at the end of Year 2. By this age, it becomes clearer as to which school would suit them to further their education.
The girls at Lyonsdown Prep School complete their education at the end of Year 6 (11+) They are well prepared to move into the secondary stage of their education and for entrance examinations both in the maintained and independent sector. It is important that the girls go to schools that are best for them as individuals, a goal which they achieve each year.
“Lyonsdown devotes so much time to each pupil individually and concentrates on their personal needs”
