Geography

Years 3 – 6

Geography at Lyonsdown aims to provoke and answer questions about the human and natural worlds. Pupils develop a good working knowledge of places and environments, both locally and on a global scale. Geographical skills are taught through investigations of places and themes and pupils are encouraged to develop problem-solving abilities as part of their investigations. Issues including global citizenship are included in the geography curriculum and we aim to conduct fieldwork in the local area wherever possible.
