Being the new Head of such a busy and thriving school means that each day is varied and full of surprises. It also means that I have to attend meetings with a wide variety of people and for a multitude of purposes. Over the last few weeks however, I have had the pleasure of spending some quality time with my Year 6 girls in our Muffin and Milkshake meetings. I can think of no better way to get to know these wonderful girls. After a few minutes, with the tasty warm muffins and chocolate milkshakes to distract them, the nerves of spending time with the Head in her office, are lifted and we have chatted freely. I have been delighted to hear about their aspirations for the future and how they wish to be role models for the younger members of the school. To listen to how they spend their time when not in school, as well as answer their questions so they can get to know me a little better too. We are incredibly lucky to have such inspirational girls in our Year 6 and these meetings have by far been the highlight of my week.
