Today, the Lyonsdown School Council held its inaugural meeting. Our Head Girl, as Chair, and our Deputy Head Girl, as Secretary, welcomed all Council members, presented them with their School Council badge and invited each to give a short introduction. Then photos of each class’s representatives were taken. Once the formalities were over, it was down to business, with the first of this year’s suggestions from classes tabled. Decisions and outcomes will be communicated to all classes in the minutes of the next meeting.
School Council will meet every half term, chaired by our Head Girl, with the agenda and minutes written up by our Deputy Head Girl. Well done everyone for a wonderful start. We look forward to the School Council continuing to be a very valued part of the pupil voice here at Lyonsdown School.
