The Outdoor Curriculum

At Lyonsdown we recognise the importance of extending children’s curriculum by using outdoor learning areas. Best use of the areas at the side of the school enable us to do this in a variety of ways including the growing of plants, flowers, vegetables and fruits, as well as extending children’s experience in other local environments.

There are opportunities for the children to explore their creativity and practice physical skills outside in physical education and beyond.
