On the 28th of May 2012, Lyonsdown celebrated the Queen’s Jubilee. The whole school went outside to the garden area and had a delicious picnic. We all had a great time, waving our Union Jack flags. Mrs Maggs-Wellings was wearing a big crown and I thought she looked really grand.After lunch, we had a balloon race and the Press came down to do photography. On the count of ten, the whole school let go of their balloons and they slowly floated up into the clouds. That day was great! It’s going to be unforgettable.
